Proof of Work (bitcoin) [2016]

Proof of Work [Bitcoin] uses the Bitcoin mining process and specifically the creation of proofs of work by a computer as a digital variable matrix to generate graphical pieces. Here, the idea of the matrix is an analogy to the plates used in printmaking procedures like etching, but in POW the plate is constantly changing, producing images that belong to the same family but each one is different from the other pictures in the series. When the computer miner has successfully found a share, it generates two images. One plate is a statement that declares the authority of the share. The second is a graphical pattern build from an interpretation of the characters of the share.
