Esta es una muestra que usa principalmente collage para crear múltiples imágenes que hablan del paisaje que podemos ver por la ventana de nuestro computador. Para la realización de las imágenes que forman las diferentes piezas utilicé un algoritmo de inteligencia artificial, al cual le entregué órdenes para construir imágenes del paisaje presente en los cerros orientales de Bogotá. Durante el proceso me percaté que la operación realizada por esta AI no es más que un collage de fragmentos de los archivos con los que ha sido entrenada. Los multiples fragmentos de cielo, montañas y paisajes en general creados digitalmente se convirtieron en la materia prima de las piezas en collage que forman parte de la muestra. Todas fueron impresas en impresión de punto y sometidas a acciones de rasgado y pegado, para ensamblar paisajes que no existen en la vida real, pero que cada vez más se convierten en el tipo de vegetación susceptible de experimentar a traves de las pantallas de nuestros dispositivos electrónicos.
This is an exhibition that uses mainly collage to create multiple images that speak of the landscape that we can see through the window of our computer. For the realization of the images that make up the different pieces I used an artificial intelligence algorithm, to which I gave orders to build images of the landscape present in the eastern hills of Bogota. During the process I realized that the operation performed by this AI is nothing more than a collage of fragments of the files with which it has been trained. The multiple fragments of sky, mountains and landscapes in general created digitally became the raw material of the collage pieces that are part of the exhibition. All of them were printed in dot printing and subjected to tearing and pasting actions, to assemble landscapes that do not exist in real life, but that more and more become the kind of vegetation that can be experienced through the screens of our electronic devices.
